This is one of a kind art doll I created in 2014. It is the third apple from the art doll collection “What about me?”.
Height 24 cm including the leaf.
Materials: Oven-hardening polymer clay, wool, silk
It is a cute little worm girl that lives in an apple. She lives a peaceful and happy life, dreams of adventures until once she is found by a human being, who wants to eat her apple. This is where the name of the doll comes. She asks “What about me?”.
The body of the doll is made of oven-hardening polymer clay. The apple is made in needle felting technique. I used wool of high quality, wire and natural fabric for making it. I painted the apple with acrylic paints. I used the same paints for I presented this doll at the international art doll exhibitions: Panna Dollia in Minsk, Belorussia (2014), European Professional doll art festival in Riga (Latvia).
